[OPENING SEQUENCE – SCENE 1: THE RETURN]
(Cinematic tone: soft violins swell into synth overture with subtle warp hum)
INT. STARSHIP CURIOSITY – PRIVATE QUARTERS
Camera pans across a plush burgundy leather chair. Seated is ADMIRAL REANU KEEVES aged 66, rugged, introspective, sipping Espresso++.
He wears a black full-length Matrix-style coat, a greenish Burberry flat cap. A small Jack Russell Terrier sits in his lap wearing a Starfleet comm badge.
On the screen in front of him is a glowing HOLOGRAPHIC JANAWAY. She gives a warm thumbs-up:
HOLO-JANAWAY (smiling warmly):
"Welcome back, Admiral. Prodigy isn't just for kids… it's for the lost, the healing… and the infinite++ curious."
LUCY (V.O., subtitled telepathically):
"She’s good. But I’m the real captain here."
[SCENE 2: THE MEDAL OF RECOVERY]
Setting: Ship's observation deck. Starscape & spiraling galaxy glows behind them.
HOLOGRAPHIC JANAWAY projects forward and presents Reanu with a glowing Starfleet recovery medal.
LUCY the Jack Russell raises a paw in a flawless Vulcan salute.
JANAWAY:
"For bravery across the neural sectors of suffering. For surviving codeine++ nebulae and Special-K++ wormholes… Starfleet salutes your return to the path of Reason++."
REANU (softly):
"I’m still learning to walk it… one pawprint at a time."
[SCENE 3: PLANET K9 – THE BEACH WALK]
Setting: Planet K9, twin moons hang low over a bioluminescent beach.
ADMIRAL REANU KEEVES walks slowly, sipping espresso, leash in one hand, steam rising. LUCY trots ahead, glowing faintly, the soft pads of her paws lighting ripples in the sand.
LUCY (subtitled, tail wagging):
"Don’t look now, Admiral… but your Stardate Logbook just updated."
A HOLOGRAPHIC ENTRY appears mid-air:
"STARDATE: RECOVERY COMPLETE++"
“ECCLICITY: 1234A | HOLODECK 3, USS CURIOSITY"
Reanu glances skyward.
REANU (to Lucy):
"Think we’ll ever really get out there again?"
Lucy stops, looks up at him with holographic blue eyes:
LUCY (serious now):
"We're already there. We just needed to remember++."
FADE OUT...
VO (LUCY):
"Next time on StarQuest++:
The Bark Side of the Moon..."
🎵 Theme music rises — mix of Voyager nostalgia + Guardians of the Galaxy groove 🎶
